We’re really excited to finally launch our biggest release to-date: WorkSimple 4.0. It’s been quite a journey: launching our first personal performance edition, incorporating our best ideas, and of course taking your feedback to launch a release that’s simple, powerful, and beautiful.
There are some important innovations we have made in the new space of social performance that we’d like to share:
As we’ve been demoing the new application to select customers, analysts, and others, we’ve consistently heard one thing above all else: wow this thing is gorgeous!
We think that comes from the tired standard that most HR software products have set. Well you know what? We care about design! This is all for you!
Elevate the Discussion
The cool thing about social goals is that they spark bigger conversations with coworkers. Because social goals generate further discussion, many of our larger customers wanted more than just goal feedback. So we implement the Discussions feature. It’s available on Goals, Focuses, and Teams.
What gets measured gets managed
Our customers have the results-driven capability of metric-driven goals. But they have asked us to take it further. We now have metrics at the Focus level as well. You can add a team focus such as Triple Website Visits with SEO & Content Development and add the metric of 300% increase in visits. Imagine scanning across your company’s teams and checking out their measurable focuses and progress made.
Social Goal Alignment and Agile Goals
Some goal management systems don’t allow for the flexibility inherent in today’s modern work environment. We get that a lot from companies who have tried the other platforms out there. That ‘s why we introduced Agile Goals last year.
But how do you get the benefits of goal alignment without the hassle of needing to create everything top-down? The answer is to let employees create goals under Company and Team focuses and set the alignment themselves: Social Alignment.
Our customers have continually pushed us to go further with reporting. In addition to weekly reporting, we now offer fine-grained reports for Teams, People, Focuses, and Goals. We’ll continue to roll out more reports in the coming weeks.
Full Performance Review
We have completely revamped how we do performance reviews. The first thing that happened was the request from customers to add Personal Focuses. This made a lot of sense to us. Employees should be able to add a personal development focus and set goals under that. Managers should be able to assist with that.
From there, we added the ability to review performance at the Focus level. For each focus, you can see employee goals, feedback, discussions, recognition, and more. It makes for a compelling case at the performance review discussion! Our customers are anxious for this feature and we think you’ll like it too!
And there’s more
In our next post, we’ll get into updates on Enterprise Privacy features, updated Recognition, Feedback changes, and a revamped Activity Stream.
Check out our plans!
